A complex ethno-cultural action, the festival aims at the knowledge and valorization, on several levels, of the heritage of traditions and customs preserved and practiced during the Winter Holidays, with Christmas and New Year as fundamental landmarks. The most beautiful Romanian customs are on show during the winter holidays. 

The winter season brings with it folk customs and traditions that date back centuries but are still practiced today.

The sculpture “Infinity Column” by Romanian sculptor Brancusi served as the model for the logo. Its rhombus design is thought to bring good fortune, and the column guards the peace.
